We couldn’t process our migration visa extension payments. It keeps throwing security errors at us, so we’ll have to wait until we get back to Bogota to sort it out.

We headed out to Cundinamarca to see Guavativa, an ancient lagoon/lake in the middle of mountain peaks in the middle of mountains. The legend has it that its full of gold.

We AirBnB’d a farm. A real, animal filled, cheese making farm. It had cows, chickens, and an elderly beagle named Toby who stunk like a proper farm dog. I did proper city-boy tourist shit like milk a cow for the first time :D

The farm manager Donaldo was a freaking legend. We had a BBQ and me, him, Nami and his wife finished off some beers, a bottle of tequila and a bottle of rum. It was the greatest night.

Everyone was so hammered we crashed out and left the dog outside. It was torrential down pouring rain with hail and at like 4:30am I awake in a stupid drunken stupor and let that stinky legend inside. He curled up on the couch next to the fireplace and KO’d like a good, comfy warm boi.
