Called the owner of Vero and said I’d reconsidered my plans. My original plan was to come in and cut code, but after 2 weeks at Experience.Digital I’d rewritten entire projects and created a brand new template for work.

For me to do the minimal isn’t really in me, so I said I’m going from senior developer to head of engineering role instead. He was super happy with it so we’ll see how it plays out.

Dan Smith flew in from Bogota to Santa Marta. Had a few cheeky drinks.
